Known as one of Queensland's most beautiful beaches, Etty Bay also offers one of Queenslands most unique experiences - daily interactions with a family of exotic Southern Cassowaries.
With Etty Bay Kitchen and General Store on site, stop in for a lazy weekend fish and chips or enjoy an ice cream while the local family of Cassowaries patrol the beach.
This quiet stretch of the Tropical North Queensland coast is situated 15 minutes from Innisfail and is located between Cairns and Townsville.
The Park came under new management in June 2019 by 1EIGHT - a family owned business, operating as a social enterprise.
In 2022 1EIGHT Parks rebranded to Escape Parks in recognition of its growing tourism management arm.
Escape Parks is driven to help others through employment opportunities and charitable donations. We're committed to investing in the region.
